TITANS `11: Emerged as Titans' leadoff hitter about one-third of the way into the season • Honorable mention All-Big West Conference outfielder • Led team with .450 on-base percentage, 46 runs, 18 hit by pitches and 20 steals in 29 attempts • Appeared in 48 games, 47 as a starter (30 in left field) • Had a 9-game hitting streak Mar. 27 thru Apr. 10 (.344, 11-for-32) and 14 of 15 games thru Apr 22 (.327, 18-for-55) • Hit his only home run at Hawaii in first game on Mar. 26 for 1-0 lead in eventual 4-2 win • Had 12 multi-hit games but never more than 2 in a game.

TITANS `10: Made his way into 27 of the Titans' 64 games but was used sparingly due to a bicep injury • Made 5 starts in the outfield • His first career hit (triple) and RBI came in his first career start on Feb. 28 against TCU • His only other hit of the season was a pinch-hit, RBI-single on Apr. 2 against UC Davis • Did not get caught stealing in 5 attempts.

DOWNEY HS: Was a 4-year letterman for the Vikings under Head Coach Jess Gonzalez • Was a two-time San Gabriel League MVP (2008 and 2009) and a three-time first-team all-leaguer (2007, 2008 and 2009) • Hit .360 with a home run and 18 RBI as a senior, while also swiping 24 of 26 bags • Hit .429 with 3 home runs and 28 RBI in 2008 en-route to an All-CIF Second Team selection • Stole 21 bases in 25 attempts in 2008 • Was the winning run of the longest (20-inning) CIF Southern Section game in history on May 14, 2008, as Downey beat Harvard Westlake, 3-2, on a bases loaded walk; he also had 5 hits in the game • Hit .390 with 2 home runs, 17 RBI, and 7 stolen bases as a sophomore • Was 11-for-27 (.409) with a home run and 5 RBI his rookie year in limited play • Was a 42nd round draft pick by the Houston Astros in the 2009 MLB First-Year Players Draft • Was also a Scholar Athlete at Downey High School.
