FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton fall sports have placed 14 student-athletes on the Big West Conference All-Academic Team in women's volleyball, women's soccer, and men's and women's cross country the league office announced on Thursday.

The Titans' women's soccer team led the way with eight all-academic honorees as seniors Tiffany Craig and Jenae Gibbens were joined by teammates Tamara Dewey, Jackie Hovda, Christina Murillo, Erica Peschken, Casey Schostag, and Sam Stillion.

Carolyn Ellis, Grace Gonzales, and Erin Griffith from the women's cross country team, Sarah Day and Alex Wolnisty from women's volleyball, and Jeff Mackay from the men's cross country program were also honored.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, complete one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received, be at least a sophomore academically, and compete in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
