LMU Women, UCI Men Win Titan Invitational

UCI's Kim, Hyams Take Individual Honors

Fullerton, Calif. - Erinn Kim and Sam Hyams of UC Irvine won the individual titles and the Loyola Marymount women and UCI men took the team titles in the Titan Invitational Cross Country meet Friday afternoon on the CSF campus.

Kim ran the 5K course in 18:11.9. Cassandra Salazar was the top LMU runner finishing third overall in a time of 18:17.5.

Hyams ran the 8K course in 25:38.0 and was followed by Aman Bhaitia (6th), Solomon Tesfaye (7th), Greg Thompson (9th), Brett Matejka (13th).

Host Fullerton did not field a full team but was led by Ashley Millet who placed 23rd overall in the women's race in a time of 19:13.8.
