Irvine, CA - Cal State Fullerton senior Jordan Horn was selected Big West Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego on Saturday.

The senior from Alta Loma and Alta Loma HS ran second in the 8K race in a time of 25:44, finishing more than 30 seconds better than any other Big West runner.

Coach John Elders is confident Horn will do even better later in the season after he backs off a rigorous training regimen.
