2014 Big West Men's Cross Country Freshman of the Year

CROSS COUNTRY REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014): Competed in five events, placing in the overall top-20 on two occasions…opened the season at the Mustang Challenge in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Sept. 20 finishing 36th overall with a time of 26:49.2 over the 8K course…ran a season-best 8K time of 24:48.0 at the Big West Championships on Nov. 1 finishing 20th overall and second among CSF finishers...posted his best finish at the Highlander Invitational in Riverside, Calif., on Oct. 18, covering the 6K course in 18:20.3 to finish 11th overall and second among Fullerton participants…concluded the season at the NCAA West Regionals in second place among CSF runners and 98th overall, logging a time of 31:21.5 at the 10K event in Stanford, Calif., on Nov. 14…captured the first Big West Men’s Freshman of the Year honor in program history.

CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2013): Utilized redshirt season. 

ARROYO HS
Four-year varsity letter winner in both cross country and track for the Knights under head coach Ramon Lopez... was named the San Gabriel Valley Runner of the Year during her his senior year... finished ninth overall at the division two CIF's... named to the division two All-State team... set personal bests in the 800m (1:59), 1600m (4:21), 3200m (9:16).
