REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2012): Cominig off his redshirt season, Jayson Perez competed in five of the six team meets for the Titans in the 2012 season. Perez finished twice 43rd, which was a season-best, once at the Big West Championships with a time of 26:21 (39 points) and at the UC Riverside Invitational with a time of 25:37.8 (36 points). Perez had a season-best time of 25:02 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational...ran at the NCAA West Regionals finishing with a time of 33:18 finishing in 164th place. 

SOPHOMORE (2011): Redshirt Season.

FRESHMAN (2010): Ran in all six team meets for the Titans... posted his best time of 24:33.6 at the Northridge Invitational on Oct. 16 to finish 10th (eight points) and help the Titans to a third-place finish... also broke 25 minutes with a time of 24:58.6 to finish 28th (20 points) at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 18 to help Fullerton to a fifth-place finish... covered the 10K NCAA West Regional course in 32:30.86 to finish 141st.

SOUTH EL MONTE HIGH SCHOOL
Ran varsity cross country for three years (2007-09) and varsity track for three season (2008-10)... three-time team MVP in both sports.

Born Jan. 16, 1992, in Bellflower... parents are Jaime and Lupe... has a brother, Jaime, and two sisters, Samantha and Krystal... majoring in kinesiology... his brother runs cross country at Cerritos College... lists playing the drums, painting, and drawing among his hobbies.
