INVITE/OPEN:	Because of overcrowded field sizes in this meet in recent years we are running 4 races this year. The purpose of this format is to provide smaller field sizes for safer competition, and still provide every team and individual an opportunity to compete. All NCAA Division I teams will automatically be entered in the invitational races. All club/individual/unattached runners will automatically be entered in the open races. All other collegiate teams that wish to be considered for entrance in the invitational races must email Coach Elders by the entry deadline with detailed information about your team including statistics on your returning and new athletes as well as your squad size. Invitations will be extended to the highest quality collegiate teams until the field is full; all other teams will be placed in the open races. After all entries are received meet management will determine whether or not the invitational and open races can be combined. In 2007 the men's races were combined.
COURSE:	Predominantly flat course that alternates between thick grass, concrete pathways, and dirt trails. Spiked racing shoes are not recommended. Download course map here in PDF format... 2008 Course Map

DEADLINE:	Entry list due to Don Chadez no later than 5:00pm PST on Tuesday, August 26th. No meet day entries. Email entry list to dchadez@aol.com. A final entry list will be posted by Wednesday evening, August 27th.
AWARDS:	Invitational Races - Top 10 Individual Finishers; Top 2 Teams. Open Races - Top 5 Individual Finishers; Winning Team Only.
LODGING:	Contact Coach Elders for information on local hotels.
DIRECTIONS:	From the 57 freeway exit at Lambert Rd. and go East about 3 miles (Lambert will eventually turn into Carbon Canyon Rd.). The entrance to Carbon Canyon Regional Park will be on the right hand side of the road.
PARKING:	Carbon Canyon Park charges $5 per vehicle on weekends. After entering the park turn to the right and follow the roadway. The start/finish area is on the grass between the softball backstops. Plenty of parking is available near the start/finish area. Buses must park in the dirt lot just south of the start/finish area.
