Titan Competes in USA Junior Nationals
June 23, 2007 Indianapolis, IN - Cal State Fullerton sophomore-to-be Jameena Hunt qualified for three events at the Finish Line USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships which ran this week at Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The product of Morse High School in San Diego placed ninth in the hammer throw at 147 feet even, 21st in the discus at 137 feet, 4 inches and 24th in the shot put at 40 feet, half and inch. Teammate Lawrence Trice qualified for the men's 100 meters but decined the invitation due to family matters. Hunt set Titan school records this past season in the shot put (44- 3 1/4), discus (159-4) and hammer (159-10). |
