Horn, Golden to Compete in NCAA Finals

Sacramento, Calif. - Senior distance runner Jordan Horn and sophomore high jumper Jonathan Golden will represent Cal State Fullerton in the 2007 NCAA Track & Field Championships which begin on June 6 in Sacramento.

Horn (Alta Loma HS) will run in the 10,000 meters on Thursday (June 7). He is ranked No. 24 in the nation with a best time of 29:02.57. All 10K runners qualified by virtue of their best times.

Golden (Azusa HS) gained an at-large entry based on his season's best jump of 7 feet, 2 1/2 inches, which ranks him No. 13 in the nation. He did not qualify automatically at last week's Regionals in Oregon, where his best jump was 6 foot, 11 inches. The high jump preliminaries are on Wednesday and the finals on Friday.

Head Coach John Elders and Assistant Coach Brandon Campbell will accompany the Titan athletes.
