Men 7th, Women 8th

at UC Riverside XC Invitational

	Grace Gonzales ran 24th for the Titan women Saturday.

Riverside, Calif. - John Carrell placed 20th among the men and Grace Gonzales was 24th for the women as Cal State Fullerton's men's and women's teams finished seventh and eighth, respectively, Saturday at the UC Riverside Cross Country Invitational.

Carrell ran the 8K in 24:33.6 while Gonzales covered her 6K in 21:24.9.

There were 25 men's teams and 20 women's teams. Team titles went Southern Utah over runnerup UCR for the men and Loyola Marymount (65 points) nipped UC Santa Barbara (69 points) for the women's crown.

Trailing Carrell for the Titan men were Tyler Reed in 24th (24:43.6), Marco Zaragoza in 36th (25:07.7), Anthony Castellon in 54th (25:27.2) and Brian Aleman in 96th (25:51.9).

For the women, Lexie Bravo was 60th (22:14.1), Sara Taylor was 67th (22:19.6), Lauren McIntyre was 75th (22:30.1) and Casey Candelaria was 83rd (22:35.0).
