Lauren Williams was born on July 27, 1989, in Pomona, California... parents are Eileen and Carlton Williams III of Chino Hills... graduated (2007) from Chino Hills High School... competed in the 100, 200, 100 hurdles and 4x100 meter relay teams... loves books and reading... works at Cal State Fullerton home athletic events... selected CSF's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2010... nominated for the 2011 NCAA Top VIII Award... she earned Spring Big West Conference All-Academic status in 2009 and 2010... one of the most successful athletes on the team, she became only the second four-time champion of an event in Big West Conference history when she won the 2011 100 meter hurdles... she also ran a leg on the champion 4x100 meter relay team, the school's first title in any relay... in addition to the championships listed below, she had the following finishes at the 2010 Big West Conference Championships: fourth in the 100 meters, ninth in the 200 and ran the second leg of the second-place 4x100 meter relay team.
