Ciara Short was born on March 11, 1989, in San Diego, California... parents are Michael and Marilyn Short of San Diego... graduated in 2007 from Madison High School in San Diego... competed n the 200, 400 and 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams... also played varsity volleyball, soccer and basketball... was MVP of the soccer team in 2005 and the track and field team four times - 2004 to 2007... made the honor roll all four years... loves to dance...likes jazz music, poetry and fashion... has played soccer most of her life... enjoys learning and meeting new people... is one of the most highly credential athletes in the history of Titan track and field... first to compete in the NCAA Indoor Championship and the U.S. Indoor Championships and her fifth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships was the highest ever by a Titan -- male or female... Two-time Big West Conference Female Track Athlete of the Year.
