Fall All-Big West Academic Teams

Grace Gonzales was born on June 29, 1989, in West Covina, California... her parents are Alfred and Cristina Gonzales of Chino, California... she graduated (2007) from Ayala High School in Chino Hills where she competed in the 1600 and 3200 meter races... she also attended Don Lugo High School in Chino... at Cal State Fullerton she has made the dean's list and was a Spring Big West Conference All-Academic selection in 2009 and 2010... she placed third in the 10,000 meters and 11th in the 5,000 meters at the 2009 Big West Conference Championships... in 2008 she was second in the 10,000 meters and fourth in the 5000 meters... she also runs cross country for the Titans and earned Winter Big West Conference All-Academic honors in 2008 and 2010... she placed 30th at the 2010 BWC Championships and ninth in 2008 as a sophomore, the best finish by a Titan since 1991... as a freshman in 2007 she placed 25th at the BWC Meet... she missed most of the 2009 season due to injury.
