Joining Coach Elders staff for the 2013 season, Estelle Naito brings experience as a pole vault coach. She spent last season in the same role for Fullerton College and is an Ultimate AC pole vault coach under the supervision of Coach Brian Yokoyama, the US men's and women's pole vault national chairperson, and Coach Hirota Tetsuo, a Japanese national coach. In that role since 2008, she works developing junior high and high-school aged competitors as well as elite performers, including 2012 London Olympic qualifier, Hiroki Ogita.

Since 2011 she has also worked for the House of Speed coaching speed and agility. A graduate of Cal State Fullerton in 2003 (with a degree in Japanese and a minor in music), she earned her master's degree in intercultural studies from Biola University in 2007. The versatile Naito has taught English as a second-language, is involved family literacy projects and is also an accomplished piano teacher.
