SEATTLE --- A number of Cal State Fullerton student-athletes recorded personal or season bests on the second and final day of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Track and Field Championships at Dempsey Indoor on the University of Washington campus on Saturday.
Sophomore Zuri Henderson also recorded a personal best with a time of 56.61 in the 400 meters to lead a trio of Titans. Freshman Kiana Clay also clocked her best time of the season finishing 28th in a time of 57.30. Freshman Mia Franco's time of 59.60 was good for 41st.
Freshman Samantha Huerta was a second off her school-record one-mile time, placing 37th in a time of 5:02.64.
In the triple jump, Robertson's mark of 11.45 meters was good for 15th, while Laura Hamann's best mark of the season, 11.23 meters, was good for an 18th-place finish.
The MPSF Championships conclude the 2017 women's indoor track and field season for Cal State Fullerton. The men's and women's outdoor season will open Saturday, March 4 at the RCC/UC Riverside Tri-Meet hosted by Riverside Community College.
