Irvine, Calif. - Senior Rachel Liebing won the women's sabre competition and senior T. J. Brewer placed third in men's epee Sunday for Cal State Fullerton at the Southern California Collegiate Fencing Invitational at UC Irvine.

Liebing bested 21 other competitors while Brewer was in a field of 35 contestants.

The fencing team under new Head Coach Mike Hinojos holds its annual alumni meet Saturday a 10 a.m. in KHS 202 (upstairs in Titan Gym).
