The Titan fencers endured a winless trip to South Bend, Indiana, over the weekend where the men went 0-5 and the women 0-7 against some of the Midwest's top fencing programs.

The men lost to No. 3-ranked Ohio State, No. 4-ranked Notre Dame, No. 10-ranked Wayne State, Detroit-Mercy and Cleveland State while the women lost to those schools as well as No. 7-ranked Stanford and Lawrence.

Top performer for the men was Jon Cresante with an 8-7 record in foil. Rachel Allen led the women with a 12-9 mark in sabre.
