LOS ANGELES – Former Cal State Fullerton wrestler T.J. Dillashaw will put his UFC bantamweight title on the line once again, Saturday night at UFC 227 inside Staples Center in a rematch from UFC 217 last November vs. Cody Garbrandt. The main event will be televised live via pay-per-view with the main event beginning at approximately 7 pm PT.
The UFC 227 prelims will begin at 5 pm PT and will be available to watch on FX. The main card can be seen via pay-per-view or streamed via UFC.TV or Amazon
Dillashaw (15-3) is the slight favorite over Garbrandt (11-1) to keep his title, but the last fight didn't without controversy. Garbrandt appeared close to a first-round knockout when he dropped Dillashaw just before the horn and Dillashaw was wobbly on his way back to his corner.
The Sonora, Calif. native was quite possibly one of the best Titan wrestlers of all-time. He was a three-time NCAA qualifier had two top-four finishes at the Pac-10 Championships during his career. During his career, he was ranked as high as 10th in the country.
