Cal State Fullerton welcomed Timothy Bautista to the Titan family as the department's Director of Fan Experience in February of 2018.
At Fullerton, he creates, develops and executes strategic marketing and promotional plans to increase fan attendance at all ticketed sporting events. He is responsible for the creation and execution of themed games and in-game entertainment for all athletic home events. In addition, Bautista manages the game presentation for all ticketed sports (music, videoboard, scripts), oversees the development and execution of in-game promotions, contests and sponsorship fulfillment, supervises marketing team and internship program and serves as the sports supervisor for band, cheer, dance and mascot programs.
Bautista joined the Titans after spending over a year as the sales and marketing coordinator for the Wells Fargo Arena at the Iowa Events Center. Bautista oversaw all ticket sales and promotional tactics for 23 ticket outlets in the Des Moines market. He also coordinated strategic marketing and branding efforts for ticket naming rights partner.
Before working at Wells Fargo Arena, Bautista spent five months as an inside sales consultant with the Cleveland Browns.
Bautista, who earned his bachelors in sports management in 2013 and his masters in sports management in 2016 from Old Dominion University, worked in the athletic department from August 2013 to May 2016.
